No. TECTARA Materials Limited is a materials supply company only. We supply products to contractors, architects, and developers. Installation is carried out by your own team or appointed contractors.

KOVON is supplied in full rolls of 1.22 m × 50 m across all series; cut-length supply is not available. Minimum order is one roll. Physical samples are available to architects, designers and contractors on request — dispatched within 3–5 working days.

EN 16516 VOC testing is in progress across our product range. Test data will be made available upon request as results are confirmed. Contact us to discuss specific project requirements.

KOVON is designed for interior applications. It is not recommended for exterior use, surfaces continuously above 50 °C, or areas with direct prolonged sunlight or standing moisture. For wet-area interiors, edges must be fully sealed — see the Installation Guide.

KOVON Performance Grain has been tested and classified B-s1,d0 to BS EN 13501-1:2018 by SGS, a HOKLAS-accredited laboratory (Reg. No. 229) — very low flame spread, the lowest smoke classification, and no flaming droplets. The classification applies to the film applied to substrates classified A1 or A2 (such as calcium silicate board), self-adhered, without joints. The classification report (No. SDFTS26003552R01, issued July 2026) is available to specifiers on request.

No — and we state this openly because your fire engineer will ask. The B-s1,d0 classification is valid for application to non-combustible (A1/A2) substrates without joints. Application to combustible substrates such as MDF or plywood falls outside the scope of the classification. For fire-rated applications, specify Performance Grain as a system: film plus A1/A2 substrate. Always confirm project-specific compliance with a qualified fire engineer.
